Getting so close we can almost taste the HAMBURGERS and FRENCH FRIES! The Route 50 Diner along with the Francis Scott Key Family Resort are almost ready to unveil their renovations, improvements, and changes to the public! As of last weekend, the "new" front desk is now in use! Guests were greeted when they walked through the door to a boardwalk entrance to the beachstand front desk! Blue and yellow walls and floors made the lobby feel a little more cozier and warm. Soon children can take a seat on our adirondack chairs while their parents check-in! The Route 50 Diner has been meeting with food vendors - it's been fun sampling possible menu items! All renovations are scheduled to be complete by May 1st and the restaurant/diner is due to open May 7th weekend! Stay tuned.........

I have loved following the progress of the diner and front desk area on the blog. I wonder though, do you have any pictures of the renovated rooms? I'd love to see what where in for this summer.
