Route 50 Diner - Signature Burgers, Shakes, Fries, and Fun is almost completed! New equipment is here, booth style seating arrived, our new hostess stand is here, and we are hiring a kitchen manager! A lot of taken place inside the diner area in the past few weeks. We plan to open the Route 50 Diner in May! The menu will consist of burgers, hand cut fries, milkshakes, beer, and a variety of appetizers and salads. Breakfast will be served all day and feature pancakes, french toast, eggs, breakfast meats, and more! The guests of the resort and locals driving by will love our new 50's themed diner and memorabilia! We are excited - stay tuned!

I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE A 0S RETRO DINER THE PLACE WAS VERY NICE,HOWEVER THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE OUR WAITRESS AMANDA WAS NICE UNTIL I STARTED ASKING IF THEY HAD CERTAIN ITEMS TO HELP ME DECIDE WHAT I WANTED FOR BREAKFAST. HOWEVER THEY DID NOT HAVE THESE SO I ORDERED LUNCH INSTEAD AND MY GIRLFRIEND ORDERED BREAKFAST, 45 MIN LATER WE GET OUR FOOD WE WERE NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL,EVERYTHING WAS COLD I MEAN EVERYTHING,WHEN WE ASKED THE WAITRESS TO TAKE MY BURGER BACK TO PUT THE CHEESE ON THAT IT WAS SUPPOSE TO COME WITH SHE GOT A LITTLE INDIGNANT ABOUT IT SO WE ASKED THE MNGR FOR OUR CHECK AND LEFT HUNGRY AND UPSET. WE DID NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE FOOD THE MNGR WAS VERY APOLOGETIC AND SAID THAT IT WAS ON THEM BECUASE OF THE COLD FOOD, AS A MNGR OF A HIGH END RESTURANT I WOULD HAVE WENT TO THE KITCHEN TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND WHY IT TOOK SO LONG WITH ONLY 6 PEOPLE IN EATING. OFFERED THE CUSTOMER A FRESHLY COOKED MEAL AND AT LEAST A COMP FOR ANOTHER TO MAKE IT RIGHT BECAUSE ONE COMPLIANTS CAN TURN INTO HUNDREDS AND SOON YOU HAVE TO CHANGE MNGMENT. WE WERE GUEST OF THE HOTEL HAND SPENT ALOT OF MONEY FOR A WEEKS STAY AND HAD A GREAT TIME THE BEDS WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD AND WOULD RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU GO TO OC YOU STAY AT THE HOTEL YOU WILL BE VERY PLEASED WITH YOUR STAY AND BE VERY REFRESH FROM THE TEMER PEDIC BEDS THAT THEY HAVE IN EVERY ROOM.....
